Inaugural Japanese League Legends match finishes in draw

The inaugural Japanese League Legends match in Tokyo has finished in a draw, with the Kings and Spartans finished locked up at 26-all in the Okudo Comprehensive Sports Center in Tokyo.

The Representative Fixture saw the best players from the Japanese National Cup (Kings) take on some of the legends of the Japanese Rugby League and other domestic Samurai players (Spartans) in an 80-minute showdown.

In a fiercely contested fixture, the experience of the Spartans saw the side take the early lead in the match, which the held until halftime, up 18 – 10, before the Kings team clicked and fought back to share the honours at full time.
