The 2019 ASEAN International Nines has received another significant boost with news that the Brotherhood Titans from Auckland will take part in the 2019 event.
The Brotherhood Titans join the likes of the Kelston Old Boys (New Zealand) and Diamond Chiefs (Papua New Guinea) in the International Nine-a-side event which will take part at Horse Shoe Point Stadium in Pattaya on November 9.
The Brotherhood Titans are based out of Mount Maunganui in Tauranga on the North Islands of New Zealand. Players to watch out for include Sione Faiva, Tali Finau and Paea Lavaka.
The 2019 ASEAN International Nines will feature 12 open-age Men’s teams. Players, managers, coaches and teams interested in taking part are encouraged to reach out to the ASEAN 9’s Rugby League on Facebook or email firstname.lastname@example.org for a registration form.
The 2018 tournament featured teams from Australia, Thailand and Laos, with the Jamberoo Superroos emerging as champions.
