The Polska Rugby XIII and Polska XIII Rugby League Exiles have announced that a Polish Representative XIII will tour the South-East Asian nation of Philippines this October.
The team, which is set to be made up of players from the Polska Rugby XIII domestic clubs and Polish Heritage players from Australia and New Zealand will tour the island of Luzon in a Development tour
The Philippines and Poland met in the Emerging Nations Championship Trophy Final last October in Western Sydney, with the Polish winning 14 – 10.
Full details of the tour will be released in coming months. The tour will be the first time the Philippines has hosted an International team since the Hong Kong Residents toured in 2017.
The Polska Rugby XIII is seeking donations to help fund sending players from Poland on the tour. Anyone interested in donating should visit their GoFundMe page.
