Pacific Toa looking to go one better in Hong Kong Nines

After finishing runners up in last year’s event, the Pacific Toa are hoping to go one better in 2019 and claim their first James Hall Trophy at this year’s Hong Kong Rugby League Nines.

Falling just short to the Tonga Development Representative team in the competition Final, the Pacific Toa went on to enjoy a strong debut year in the code, winning the Hong Kong Super League to cement themselves as one of the powerhouse clubs in Hong Kong Rugby League.

Returning in 2019, the team will be hoping for an even more successful year and are eyeing the fifth annual Hong Kong Rugby League Nines at the perfect way to start their campaign.

The 2019 Hong Kong Rugby League Nines will once again take place at Kings Park in Kowloon, with the latest iteration of the event to take place on Saturday 4 May. The Pacific Toa will join a number of other local teams at what will be the longest running Nines tournament in the region.

Teams, players or individuals who want to get involved should visit www.hongkongrugbyleague.com or email info@hongkongrugbyleague.com for more information.
