The Papua New Guinea Nines specialists, the Diamond Chiefs, are on their way to Pattaya this November to take part in the second ASEAN International Nines.
Participants in the last two Hong Kong Nines, the 2017 James Hall Trophy winners will make their way to Thailand in 2019 joining teams from across Thailand, Australia and New Zealand.
The Diamond Chiefs were originally created to enter Nines tournaments across Papua New Guinea, made up of young men from all over the country who have the desire to better themselves in their personal and professional lives. The Chiefs are all about promoting respect, humility, famliy, hard work and self betterment through the game of Rugby League.
The 2019 ASEAN International Nines will take place at Horse Shoe Point Stadium in Pattaya on Saturday, November 9.
Only three places are left in this years tournament.
