Thonburi University has been the first place to benefit from the Development Tour being conducted by Rugby League volunteer, Rodney Joyce, and his wife, Lek Janpa, with a successful Development clinic held in the Tertiary institution on Thursday evening.

Based west of the Bangkok City Centre in the Thawi Watthana District, Thonburi University is one of the top Universities in the Thailand capital, offering undergraduate and graduate studies in business administration, law, political science, science, and education.

The Development clinic, which was held at the Thonburi University Stadium, featured over 30 participants of varying ages taking part in skills sessions and Rugby League fundamentals and was overseen by both Rodney and University Dean, Dr Bunya Gertmanee.

Thursday’s clinic will be the first of a series of planned sessions being conducted by Rodney and the respective Central Federation of Clubs (CFC) and Isaan Federation of Clubs (IFC) over the coming month.
